Since 2007 I've helped organizations improve profitability and meet sustainability goals with IPS Solar. As a company we carved out a niche in US Midwest commercial rooftop and community-based solar development, focusing on our clients’ best interests.
Over the last 15+ years I've helped to accelerate significant solar power development in Minnesota and now nationally. Taking on the Chief Development Officer role in 2016, I've contributed to growing annual revenues by more than 1000%. In 2022 we were acquired by New Energy Equity and ALLETE to further expand our mission nationwide.
Some of my favorite milestones have been helping over 50 schools adopt solar energy and STEM curriculum, the Green Line Solar Project, Eichten's Community Solar Garden, and expanding our installation footprint from Florida to Washington state.
I'm also author of the recently released book CleanWave, A Guide to Success in the Green Recovery (cleanwavebook.com), which guides readers through the past, present, and future of cleantech while offering actionable solutions for jobseekers.
